Hello Dear Ones,
It is amazing how many people choose to be angry and upset when they drive. Then they wonder why there are so many poor drivers around them. I learned a long time ago not to get upset because someone else does not know how to drive. That is their problem, not mine.
The rules of the road are the same as the rules of life. What we give out in words or thoughts are exactly what will return to us. If we believe that the world is full of lousy drivers, then that is exactly what we will experience.
If we want to have a pleasant driving experience, then it is up to us to create it. The moment I enter my car, I bless the car with love and affirm that I will have a safe, happy trip, surrounded by good drivers. I add a little gratitude by appreciating that I have a great car to drive, that I have the ability to be a good driver, that someone has built this great road for me to drive on, and that I will get to my destination at the perfect time.
Try this the next time you go anywhere and see what a difference it makes.
Affirm: Everyone around me is a good driver and we all get there at the perfect time.
Drive with joy,
Louise

I love your affirmations. Many years ago you taught me the great value of affirmations and I practice them. It is first time I write in your blog, but for many years I have been reading your books and following your teachings. This is an opportunity to thank you from my heart.

If only we all remembered that it's up to us to create our experience, that circumstances don't change our perspective, that we do, by choosing our own outlook. Peace is a choice, "I'd rather be happy than right!" A wise man said, "let there be peace and let it begin with me."

I have found, like you, Louise, that if I have a positive attitude when I drive, there seem to be only "good' drivers out and about. It certainly makes me day a lot brighter!

I'm one of those angry drivers & I really want to change it...i think this affirmation will help me to become a much calmer driver. Thank you so much...and since this was posted on birthday, i think the universe is trying to tell me something ;)

It's a good idea, If you're not used to this way of thinking, to write your affirmation on a card, and stick it on your dashboard. That way you'll be reminded to say it each time you get into your car.
