My Gratitude Garden

My Gratitude Garden - Louise Hay

Because I’ve been on the road so much, my friend—feng shui expert Terah Kathryn Collins has been spending time at my home—house-sitting and taking care of my garden. She’s neat and tidy and this makes her an ideal person to stay there.

Before I left, Terah said she’d like to do some things with my garden and had a couple of ideas. And I said, “Anything! Anything you want to do is fine.” I trust Terah and I know that she is a person who creates beauty.

I told her about my challenges: If I buy a plant for this garden, I only buy one. You can get a little six-pack of plants, but I buy only one. I plant it and then wait until the next morning to see if it’s alive. I have all of these animals that eat. I don’t want them to eat six, but they can eat one! If they don’t eat it or aren’t interested in it, then I know I can bring more plants in.

Life loves me! Terah was at my house for two weeks and she has transformed my garden. It is so gorgeous! When I saw it, I just wanted to cry because it was the garden I had wanted since I first moved here. But I didn’t know how to do it. I’m not a garden designer. That is not my talent. I’d love to be, but I’m not.

My new garden is just exquisite. I love you, Terah.

Let’s affirm:  I am deeply grateful for everything that has been given to me.

Oh, Louise, you must take pictures and share it with us, too! I love feng shui 'and' I love gardens. I know it is everything you wanted. You just had to wait for the right person. Bless you and your garden, oh, and Terah, of course.

I love gardening too. To me a perfect garden would have a space that drew the butterflies, one for the birds, one area for herbs and a constant change of color....full of action. I'm grateful for the garden I have now too!

Like the flowers in a garden, even love gives a divine fragrance which will attract goodness in life.

Hi Louise, thanks for coming to Australia. I was brave enough to teach 100 fifteen year old girls about affirmations last week at a health day because you are so inspiring. I would like your advice on introducing a program to more High Schools

Years ago I studied Terah Collins after a divorce at age 40. focusing on love and romance, fame, prosperity and family. It worked magic in my live. I love her simple way of making this concept easy to understand to apply to our lives in the American culture. She is lovely....just like you.
