Exhale; close your eyes. Notice your body and any tightness, stress, pain, heaviness, whether you're cold or hot. Simply take note of it in your mind. Put your chin down toward your chest, close your eyes, and pretend that you can see through your chest and that you discover a beautiful butterfly of white light. Then see this butterfly flying down through your chest, down through your legs, ever so gracefully out the bottom of your feet, making a huge tunnel of white light behind it, traveling to what you perceive is the center of the earth. You have followed this butterfly all the way here. Notice that there is a beautiful crystal clear blue pool of water here that you can see yourself in. You now imagine the butterfly diving into the pool. You immediately follow her, and while doing so you feel all the grunge, debris, and heaviness fall from you, going deeper and deeper into the crystal clear pool. Notice how you can breathe in this pool of water; there is no struggle or effort here. Pause and enjoy the moment. Then follow the butterfly back up the tunnel of white light, back up into the bottom of your feet, up through your chest. Feel your body expanding, feel your shoulders relaxing. Continue following this butterfly up and down this tunnel of light and into the pool for at least three breaths, exhaling on the way down and inhaling on the way up. Slow and methodical. Please continue this for three inhalations and three exhalations. Now, notice how your body feels. You should feel more bottom-heavy, more "together," and more quiet or calm.
