5 Ways To Create Good Luck This St. Patrick’s Day
Be The Luckiest Person You Know“Every thought I think is creating my future.” –Louise Hay
Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Are you wearing green, watering your shamrock plant, and watching for rainbows on this feast day of Ireland’s beloved patron saint? This upbeat good luck holiday is the perfect time to celebrate all the blessings you enjoy as the powerful and positive creator of your own fortunate life. Do you recognize your own pot of gold—the good luck that is your birthright? Do you feel as lucky as you really are?
What is luck anyway?
Some might define good luck as a pattern of succeeding in your endeavors or always receiving what you want. A deeper understanding might be that good luck is a way of being in the world, a way of seeing life through a lens of love and appreciation. In truth, you have the opportunity each day to exercise your power for creating good fortune for yourself and others. As a spiritual teacher and energy healer, I have seen the amazing ability that ordinary people have to heal, to grow and to foster the well-being of others. You, too, can create good luck with the power of your positive energy!
Here are 5 ways you can create your own good luck and celebrate your connection to Source:
1. Practice the power of positive thinking
It’s remarkable what you can accomplish by simply adopting a hopeful, optimistic attitude. Consciously steering your thoughts and emotions toward the outcome you want is one aspect of the practice of energy healing. Your positive energy can be focused with intention to achieve positive outcomes you desire.
2. Stay open to the possibilities of life
Part of being optimistic is keeping an open and receptive attitude. You can foster a state of relaxed and open awareness by establishing a meditation practice and by keeping your energy free-flowing with regular exercise. When possibilities appear, you will be ready to look at them with a calm and hopeful interest, in case they are just the fortunate opportunities you are seeking.
3. Trust your intuition
Tuning in to your inner voice and trusting yourself to follow its prompting can help you know when to take a chance or a risk, to try out new ideas, and to experiment with taking a new path. Your inner guidance can help you feel comfortable in the world, confident in the knowledge that you are safe and free to become all that you can be.
4. Call upon higher wisdom for assistance
You probably do this many times a day without even realizing it. Whether you summon help through prayer, call upon your healing angels, commune with the natural wisdom of the earth, or connect with your inner knowing, you are reaching out to the Divine. Acknowledging your connection to infinite wisdom is a prayer of gratitude for all that you are, all that you love, and all of your potential for good.
5. Put service to others first
By giving generously to others you open the door to wellness, prosperity, and good fortune for yourself. Because we are all one in this energy-driven universe, all the help and service you give to others is given to you as well. Your love and compassion goes out into the world and returns to you in the form of greater healing and greater opportunity to serve.
The more gratitude you feel for the good luck you enjoy in life, the more your luck will blossom and grow. Keeping a journal of all the things you are grateful for each day will make sure those blessings are always right before your eyes. When you’re asked if you are lucky, you can point to the evidence and say, “I think I may be one of the luckiest people alive!”
