Getting to the PointAccessing the space between logic and your sixth sense.
There is a field of energy between the Creator and the soul, a still point of perfect trust and infinite possibility that allows creation to occur. I call this space the Point of Origin. We have access to this space at all times, whether we know it or not; our souls are always connected to it. It holds our promises, our purpose, and the answers to all our questions.
Science has proven to us that everything is energy. The tables, chairs, walls that we see are all made up of small particles that are moving and fluid and only appear to be solid. The same is true of human beings. Our soul is pure energy, and it is always connected across all dimensions; it always has access to the Point of Origin, where it interacts moment to moment with the Creator. It recharges and refuels automatically, just as the heart beats without the mind telling it to.
Many of us first become aware of connecting with the Point of Origin in sleep states—not only in prophetic dreams, but when we get glimpses of the answers we are seeking to our current life problems. Then we begin to notice it during our waking hours in the form of a quick intuitive flash, a moment of knowing. We sense the power of these interactions, and we start to look for more openings into this space. Finally, we are able to summon it at will and to be fully present to it. It is the space between our logic and our intuition, our fears and our knowledge, our habits and our triumphs, our questions and our answers. It’s the space between our loneliness and our true love. It is a space of nothingness where everything is possible.
Some of us can access this space more readily than others. Gifted writers, artists, musicians, actors, and comedians all tap into this space to access the abilities for which they’re celebrated. So do experts in other, less readily accepted fields—psychics, mediums, faith healers, all those who use their “sixth sense” (which is just another name for intuition) to express themselves in the world. Some people are so terrified of “hearing” anything that they shrink from any interaction with “those types.”
Maybe you’ve felt this way yourself. However, if you were to have a conversation with a reputable individual in one of these fields, and you could listen not with your critical faculties but with your gut instincts, your inner knowing, you probably wouldn’t be nervous at all. You would see the value of this person’s knowledge and skill, just as you do with your accountant, lawyer, or doctor. In fact, you’d probably want to find a way to use his or her gifts to get answers in your life. If you’re reading article, you are most likely looking to cut out the middleman and reveal those answers for yourself. Bravo! You won’t be disappointed.
