We rarely think of the soil as having an energetic force, but it certainly does. Here’s a secret for reaping its benefits for free: Just touch Mother Earth! Create harmony in your life by literally connecting with Nature, especially if you spend a lot of time in cities, walking in shoes on concrete, working in skyscrapers, and driving in cars.

Studies show that the body’s cells respond to the earth’s core frequency, known as the “Schumann Resonance.” Sleep and magnetic-field expert Paul Becker, inventor of EarthPulseTM Geomagnetic Field Supplementation, said that Schumann waves (natural frequencies of the earth, sometimes referred to as the Earth’s heartbeat) have conditioned our evolution. These frequencies particularly affect the healthy balance of our brain state and the energy in all the cells’ mitochondria (which turn nutrients into energy, acting like tiny power plants). In other words, the Earth’s “geopathic vitamins” are a recipe for harmony in the body.

These natural waves or frequencies are well under 20 beats per second, compared with the 50 to 60 cycles per second that power nearly everything related to modern life, including cell-phone and telecommunication networks. Becker adds that in today’s environment, it’s nearly impossible to receive this natural “tuning,” as these emanations are drowned out by man-made higher frequency fields.1

NASA created a Schumann wave stimulator (a magnetic-pulse generator mimicking the earth’s frequency) after noticing how astronauts’ physical condition severely deteriorated while they were in space, away from Earth’s Schumann Resonance. This device gives them a steady supply of Earth energy.

The only other way to get back in touch with “Earth energy” is by camping beyond the grid of modern electric and telecommunication networks. The reason why you sleep so well when you’re in a natural environment isn’t due to the fresh air and exercise so much as the fact that you’re sleeping in contact with the ground, in an environment that lacks most of the man-made electric and magnetic fields.

Nature’s Secret Message: The earth’s ground, dirt, grass, water, and sand can help ground you, putting you in touch with its nurturing energy and natural frequencies.

Nature is far more multifaceted than we realize, and its health is directly related to our health. Its vitality supports our vitality. The life in the soil and the ground’s energy can . . . well, ground you. It can also make you feel centered, calm, and revived. If you’re feeling stressed out, take off your shoes and walk on the grass or anywhere on a natural surface. You can feel a similar effect by being immersed in the ocean.

The following exercise uses the earth’s energy to calm you down and help you feel supported when you’re feeling stressed. Kneel and bend forward, placing your forehead to the ground. In yoga, this posture is called the “child’s pose.” As you hold this position, imagine negative energy flowing out of you and into the earth from your third eye (the point between your eyebrows). If you find this pose difficult, you can simply lie on your stomach and visualize negative energy moving from your forehead into the ground. Simply feel the earth comfort you.

You can also lie with your solar plexus on the ground and visualize the ground supporting you, while all of the negative energy pours out of your body and into the ground.
