The Ultimate Concierge
Fly the friendly skies with an angel. In The book of Tobit, a canonical text accepted by the Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox churches, Archangel Raphael (disguised as a human nobleman) accompanies Tobit’s son Tobias on a long and arduous trek by foot. Tobias gains wisdom, valuable experiences, and a bride along the way, thanks to Raphael. Ever since he accompanied Tobias on his journey, Archangel Raphael has been a patron saint of travelers.
My work as a spiritual teacher has taken me around the world several times, and I credit God and Archangel Raphael for making my journeys safe and peaceful. Raphael is the ultimate traveling companion who handles all of the small and large details, because his mission is to ensure our well-being. In this way, we avoid the stressful moments of travel that could negatively impact our health.
Remember that Raphael, like God and all of the archangels and ascended masters, is an unlimited being. So he’s able to help everyone simultaneously with all aspects of your traveling. Raphael knows that lots of small stressors add up to big, health-threatening stress. So he accompanies you on your travels in order to shield you from needless stressful situations. He is the Angelic concierge!
However, because of human free will, Raphael can only intervene if you give him permission to help. So it’s a good idea to call upon him before starting any journey.
I’ve certainly asked Raphael to help me with small and large travel details! After a long flight, the last thing travelers want to hear is that their hotel room isn’t available. I’ve stood at many front desks, talking with the clerk while simultaneously having silent discussions with Archangel Raphael. Always, he exceeds my expectations and unlocks the doors to effortless travel.
As a flight attendant, Philippe Slimbroeck sees the results of calling upon Raphael every day. Philippe always connects to the archangel and his personal guardian angels before each flight. He visualizes them surrounding the airplane with white and green light. This gives him a secure feeling, and he knows that everyone on board is in safe hands.
Most of Philippe’s trips are to Africa, and poor weather conditions and upset passengers can be found on most flights. Yet ever since he started working with Archangel Raphael and the other angels, Philippe has found that any turbulence or incident with a passenger has gotten resolved in no time!
Philippe hasn’t experienced any nonsecure situations on his flights, which to him is the best proof of Archangel Raphael’s caring energy. Philippe says, “I’d like to advise the readers—whether you’re a flight attendant, a business traveler, or just leaving on a holiday—to call upon Archangel Raphael and your guardian angels before you take off, to protect and comfort you during your trip.”
Who else besides me would love to have Philippe as a flight attendant on an upcoming trip? And synchronistically, after he’d sent this story to me, I met Philippe in person at a London book signing the day before I flew to Africa for the first time!
